More Than One Show
At Ferry Tales Youth Theater, we believe the true impact of youth theater happens over time. While every production is special, it’s the journey across multiple seasons that helps students grow into confident performers, leaders, and teammates.
That belief is what inspired our Legacy Student recognition.
What Is a Legacy Student?
A Legacy Student is a performer who has participated in at least one Ferry Tales Youth Theater production for five consecutive years.
These students grow alongside our program — learning not just theater skills, but responsibility, collaboration, perseverance, and confidence. Their continued commitment reflects the heart of what we value at Ferry Tales: showing up, growing, and being part of something bigger than a single show.

Why Returning Students Matter
Returning students play an important role in every rehearsal room. They help welcome new performers, model kindness, and show what it looks like to be part of a supportive theater community.
Their presence creates continuity and stability, making the experience stronger for everyone involved. Growth like this doesn’t happen overnight — it builds through consistency, encouragement, and time.
Legacy Is About Impact, Not Exclusivity
Legacy recognition is not about spotlighting a small group — it’s about celebrating long-term commitment and growth. Legacy Students reflect the values we hope all students experience at Ferry Tales Youth Theater: courage, creativity, teamwork, and care for others.
They help shape the culture families return to year after year.
Looking Ahead: Future Legacy Classes
We’re excited to continue this tradition in the years ahead.
Applications for the next Legacy Student class will open in November 2026, with the new class announced in January 2027. This timeline allows families time to reflect on their journey and apply thoughtfully.
The stories of our students — past, present, and future — continue to grow right H E R E, and we can’t wait to see how the next generation of performers leaves their mark.

A Lasting Impact
Legacy isn’t about how many shows a student performs in — it’s about how they grow along the way and the impact they leave behind.
We are proud of every student who steps onto our stage, whether it’s their first production or one of many. Each journey matters, and each story is part of the larger legacy of Ferry Tales Youth Theater.
