Kristina Spackman

As a founder of our youth theater, Kristina is passionate about creating meaningful performing arts experiences that help young people grow in confidence, creativity, and community. With a background in numerous stage productions and improv troupes, she brings both professional experience and genuine enthusiasm for the craft to every program.
In addition to directing and teaching theater, Kristina runs a local preschool and works as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, combining her love for education, communication, and child development in all that she does. She is a wife and mother of four, and her family is the heart behind her commitment to nurturing young performers.
Outside of work, Kristina enjoys traveling and exploring international cuisine, always seeking new cultures and experiences to inspire her work. She is deeply grateful for a career in the performing arts and finds great joy in helping the next generation discover their voices on stage.

Davonna Thomas
Davonna Thomas is the chair of the Ferry Tales Youth Theater Board of Directors. She has a background in nonprofit management, performing arts, literacy, and education, so FTYT's mission is near and dear to her heart. She studied percussion and piano at Indiana University, where she performed in numerous ensembles and productions. Later, she studied nonprofit arts management at Columbia College Chicago. These days, Davonna keeps busy as the music teacher at Dixon Elementary School, in addition to her multiple volunteer roles with FTYT. She is also an adult student at Lejeune Dance Company.
Jenna Leyndyke serves as Communications Manager for Ferry Tales Youth Theater. A military spouse and mother of four, Jenna first became involved with FTYT as a volunteer when her daughter joined a production. What began as helping behind the scenes quickly grew into a passion for strengthening and expanding the organization. She now oversees marketing, social media, ticketing, registration, website management, newsletters, and parent communications—helping ensure families and the community stay informed, connected, and engaged.
In her free time, Jenna enjoys distance running and traveling with her family—usually with a color-coded itinerary designed to maximize both efficiency and fun.
